Kate Dassesse
PhD Student, Unisanté
In the True Cost of Food project, Kate's research focuses on consumer’s perceptions and behaviours, by conducting experiments to test changes in the food environment (e.g. via information or compensation mechanisms).
After having worked 5 years at the Federal Office for Agriculture in the International Affairs and Food Systems Unit, Kate is conscious of the complexities, interlinkages and challenges faced by food systems. She is convinced that addressing the true cost of food is essential in the needed transformation towards more sustainability.
